THE BOOK OF WONDERS

With the publication of 747 in August 2000, I invited readers to submit entries to The Book of Wonders, a chronicle of all the incredible feats that go unnoticed in the world, achievements with no entries in The Book of World Records, no stories on the front page, no live shots on television, no roadside attractions.

I welcomed real stories about everyday wonders, authentic moments of greatness, unheralded times of splendor.

I’ve received hundreds of beautiful, unforgettable submissions and hope someday to publish them in The Book of Wonders.
